Ivana Tukša Jelić began her music education in the Music school Albert Štrige in Križevci, and graduated from music highschool Blagoj Berse in Zagreb, in the class of professor Renata Strojin Richter. She graduated in Piano Performance from the Music Academy in Zagreb in 1994 in the class of Pavica Gvozdić, and she completed a two-year elective training in harpsichord in the class of Višnja Mažarun. In 1997 she graduated in Organ Performance from the Church Music Institute in class od Mirta Pandurić-Kudrna.
In 1994 Ivana started teaching at Music School Blagoj Berse in Zagreb, and her students accepted many awards and recognitions on national and international competitions. Her students participate as solists on many renowned orchestra performances, on recitals, and finally continue their education further at the Academy of Music of Zagreb and on many other famous Universities.
Ivana Tukša Jelić was promoted to the position of a mentor in 2009, and in 2014 to the postition of a school counselor. Since 2015 she has been the Head of Piano and Organ department at the Music School Blagoj Berse. She has been honored with the annual award of Croatian Association of Music and Dance Pedagogues for her high pedagogic accomplishments.
