Ivana Tukša

Ivana Tukša began her musical education at the Albert Štriga Music School in Križevci and completed her secondary education at the Blagoje Bersa Music School in Zagreb, studying in the class of Prof. Renata Strojin Richter. In 1994, she graduated in piano from the Academy of Music in Zagreb, where she studied with Prof. Pavica Gvozdić, and also completed a two-year elective programme in harpsichord in the class of Prof. Višnja Mažuran. In 1997, she graduated in organ performance from the Institute of Church Music, studying with Prof. Mirta Pandurić-Kudrna.
In 1994, she began her pedagogical career at the Blagoje Bersa Music School in Zagreb. Her students have won numerous awards and distinctions at national and international competitions, have performed as soloists with renowned orchestras, given numerous recitals, and continued their studies at the Academy of Music in Zagreb and other institutions of higher education. Since 2015, she has served as Head of the Piano and Organ Department at the Blagoje Bersa Music School.
She is the recipient of the Annual Award of the Croatian Association of Music and Dance Pedagogues for her outstanding pedagogical achievements.
In 2024, Ivana Tukša was promoted to the title of Senior Advisor.
